Thung Ui Valley

Location
Thung Ui valley is located in Gia Sinh commune, Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province. Located in the core area of the world heritage site of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, Thung Ui has the wild valley area, quiet beauty of the mountains and forests away 18Km from Ninh Binh city center. On the occasion of the coming Lunar New Year, Thung Ui valley will officially open waterfall, serving the sightseeing tour and combine Bai Dinh pagoda tours for meeting the needs of tourists.
History
Thung Ui was formerly Hoa Lu palace, located west of the capital, so Dinh Tien Hoang – king built the communal altar here to worship heaven and earth to pray for peace and good harvests.
How to travel to Thung Ui Valley in Ninh Binh
From the three-entrance gate of Bai Dinh Pagoda, about 3km into Thung Ui valley, to Kinh Thien (Heaven thank giving) Temple, which is also the opening door to Thung Ui valley. (read further the beautiful pagodas in Ninh Binh)
